Where your protein is made.
Our powders are blended and packed in Northampton. We chose to manufacture here rather than import finished product from a lower-cost market. It costs more per pouch. Here is what it buys.
Traceability
We know which lot of pea isolate, from which supplier, went into which batch of which flavour, on which day. If something ever needed investigating, we could trace it in an afternoon rather than a fortnight. Most brands buying finished imported product cannot say that.
Testing
Every batch is tested at an independent UKAS-accredited laboratory before release. Full nutritional panel, protein by amino acid analysis, heavy metals, and a microbiological package.
A shorter journey
From our blender to your door is a matter of hours. Fresher product, smaller footprint, and no six-week wait when we need to make more.
Protein by amino acid analysis
This matters more than it sounds. The standard cheap method measures nitrogen and multiplies by a fixed factor, which any nitrogen-containing ingredient can inflate. Amino acid analysis measures the protein itself.
Certificates of analysis for the current batch of every product are available on request.
What “Made in Britain” doesn’t mean
It doesn’t mean every ingredient is grown here. Our pea protein isolate comes from European producers with the specialist processing capacity — mostly France, Belgium and the Nordics. Our soya and brown rice protein are sourced from India, where genetically modified soybean cultivation is not permitted.
We tell you that because “Made in Britain” gets used loosely, and we’d rather be precise. The blending, the quality control and the packing are British. The ingredients come from wherever they’re grown best.
