Flavours

Seven flavours. Three you’ll recognise. Four you might not.

We make the classics properly. We also make four flavours drawn from Indian kitchens, because nobody else in British protein is doing it and because they’re genuinely delicious.

Vanilla

Natural vanilla, unshowy. The most versatile flavour we make — it works in a shake, in porridge, in baking, and it doesn’t fight with anything you add to it.

Chocolate

Fat-reduced cocoa, properly dosed. Bitter enough to taste of cocoa rather than of sugar. The one most people start with, and the one most people stay on.

Salted Caramel

Sweet, then salt. The trick is stopping before it becomes cloying, which is where most salted caramel proteins go wrong.

Rose Thandai

Signature range

Thandai is the cooling drink made across northern India in the heat — almonds, fennel, rose, cardamom, black pepper and melon seeds, all ground together and stirred into cold milk.

Ours is a protein shake built on that idea. Floral, cooling, faintly spiced. It tastes like nothing else in a British protein aisle.

Elaichi-Pistachio

Signature range

Green cardamom and pistachio, the pairing at the heart of half of India’s sweets.

Cardamom on its own can taste thin in water. The pistachio gives it weight and a soft natural green colour. Warm, nutty, aromatic.

Kesar Badam

Signature range

Saffron and almond. In India this is what gets made for someone who needs looking after — a glass of warm milk, saffron threads, ground almonds.

Delicate, slightly sweet, unmistakably itself.

Masala Chai

Signature range

The one that needs no introduction, because chai has been on every high street in Britain for a decade.

Cardamom, ginger, cinnamon, clove and black pepper in the proportions actual chai uses — not the cinnamon-heavy blend the West sells as “chai spice”. Warming, gently sweet, with the tannic edge of black tea behind it.

Masala Chai contains caffeine — roughly 30mg per serving, from the tea. Worth knowing if you drink your protein in the evening.
